OUR HISTORY

ODAAC, the Orange Drug and Alcohol Action Committee, is dedicated to reducing underage drinking and substance abuse within the Orange community. Our mission is to foster awareness and prevention through educational programs, outreach, and collaboration with schools, community organizations, businesses, and local government agencies.

As a committee of dedicated volunteers, community leaders, and citizens of the area—including police officers, counselors, town officials, parents, teachers, and students—we work together to create a healthier environment for our youth. ODAAC is proud to work alongside Orange Youth Services, which promotes positive development in children and youth from grades K-12 by planning and implementing programs that enhance growth and well-being.

We take seriously our responsibility to serve the Orange community and welcome your input and involvement in our efforts.

12 Community Sectors | Committed to the Cause

Drug Free Community (DFC) Coalitions are made up of community leaders representing twelve sectors that organize to meet the local prevention needs of the youth and families in their communities. Coming together from a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences, our members are the backbone of the Orange community. Their ideas help shape the direction and mission of our organization as it continues to develop.
